Hating the weather, loving the 2-hour delay
The Story
The Arctic Blast is bringing seriously cold temps to Charlotte today — 10 degrees cold. And it will be breezy. Liking below 0-degree wind chills, much?
The Facts
– A slew of school systems worried about buses not starting and kids standing out in 0-degree temps announced they were operating on a 2-hour delay, including Gaston, Iredell-Statesville and Cabarrus.
– Duke Energy is so worried about over consumption of power that it’s asking customers to limit use through 10 a.m. this morning.
But the good news …
Students were loving the 2-hour delay:

Schools in Charlotte are on a 2 hour delay tomorrow because the temperature is to be single digits… Why do I go to school in Ohio again?
