Bulldog Taproom/Social opened in its new Charlotte spot on Saturday, Jan. 13. The taproom relocated its South End home to the Shops at The Winston on West Boulevard, where it will begin including beer brewed in-house.

Bulldog Taproom/Social, which announced an expansion to NoDa back in June 2023, joins The Shoedio and The Coterie Concept at The Winston, which is home to 132 apartments, penthouses and townhomes in Wilmore Centennial Park.

“The Bulldog staff and I are thrilled to go live this week at SE 2.0 at The Winston. We brought over and enhanced everything folks love about our existing South End location and added other features that we know will be very popular as well,” owner Rob Johnson said in a statement released Friday, Jan. 12.

In the new space, Bulldog will brew its own beer and seltzer, with production beginning within the first two months. The taproom also offers 10 draft craft taps, “easy drinking” beer options and canned seltzers.

If you’re wondering what you can expect from its new South End menu, the kitchen will serve flatbreads, beer pretzels and other bites.

Bulldog Taproom/Social is The Winston’s largest tenant, with a 4,000-square-foot space that also includes outdoor seating.
