A new family-friendly social spot is coming to NoDa soon. What you can expect.
A new family-friendly spot to hang out or grab a drink is opening soon in Charlotte.
Sprinkle, a new concept with coffee, cocktails and light bites, is opening in the NoDa neighborhood this month, Q City Metro first reported.
“We’re more than a dessert lounge … it is a space to chill,” owner Kimberly Wilkinson told CharlotteFive. “You can come with your kids and get a dessert, or come with your friends and get a cocktail.”
Wilkinson, who also owns Juice Box and Members Only, has had a presence in the NoDa neighborhood for years. The shop where Sprinkle will stand was once the space for her pressed juice shop and before that, a clothing store.
“I’m just excited to continue to be a part of the Charlotte community in a way where I can bring something alive that people can appreciate,” Wilkinson said.
Juice Box in NoDa closed back in 2022 and moved to West Charlotte. Since then, Wilkinson has been working on transforming the space in NoDa for Sprinkle for locals of all ages to socialize, eat and drink.
“NoDa is that neighborhood where people are always meeting … to enjoy themselves,” Wilkinson said.
Sprinkle will offer sweets like milkshakes, cocktails and dessert towers, but there will also be savory small bites, tea and coffee, too. The new concept will be open for guests who want to stop in for a bite or drink, or want to book the space for parties and private events.
Right now, Sprinkle is in a soft opening phase, but the shop will be officially opening on Friday, Oct. 27.
