A second location of this Charlotte restaurant, market is now open.
Salted Melon Market & Eatery is bringing more sandwiches, salads and bowls to Charlotte after opening a second location Wednesday, Aug. 14 in the Eastover neighborhood.
The first 50 guests who visited on opening day will get a free Salted Melon hat, and you can get $5 off your first order today with the Salted Melon app. The restaurant takes over the space formerly home to Hubee D’s, which closed on May 30.
In the new location, you can expect the same lineup as Salted Melon’s South End location, which also features all-day breakfast. It also debuted a new smoothie bar at the South End location, with those smoothies becoming available at Eastover, too.
The restaurant and market will revamp an existing 2,378-square-foot building with new furniture and finishes. A patio adds outdoor space to the new location, making space for seating 72 guests inside and 20 outside.
“This will be a great space to pick up breakfast, lunch and dinner, grab coffee or a smoothie in between meetings or appointments, or set up a remote workspace,” owner Thomas Coker said in a news release.
“We look forward to meeting our new guests and offering a second, equally convenient location for the loyal customers we’ve met in South End.”
