Fort Mill residents who are fans of Penn Station East Coast Subs will no longer have to travel so far for their favorite sandwiches.

A new location of the sandwich chain is now open off Highway 160, between Baxter Village and Steele Creek. This marks the second Penn Station restaurant in York County; the first is located on Cherry Road in Rock Hill.

The Fort Mill store will feature the same menu as the one in Rock Hill, offering cold and grilled specialty sub sandwiches.

Among the favorites is a create-your-own Dagwood option, named after the Dagwood Bumstead cartoon character’s enormous sandwich creations. Popular sub options also include its cheesesteaks and pizza subs.

The restaurant offers wraps, salads, too, along with a collection of sides such as fries, chips, cheese bread and cookies.
