New uptown seafood restaurant opens this weekend with Asian, European and American fusion
If you’re a sucker for seafood, a new surf and turf restaurant is joining Charlotte’s food scene with a grand opening event on Saturday, Aug. 10.
Sea Grill Restaurant & Bar is opening at Queen City Quarter, formerly known as the Epicentre in the heart of uptown. On opening day, welcome bubbles and desserts will greet each guest.
Designed to “cater to every guest’s palate,” the upscale seafood fusion restaurant will offer a variety of dishes combining Asian, European and American cuisines, like sushi, steaks, specialty cocktails and more, including:
Charcuterie tower with premium cheeses, berries, grapes, nuts, jam, crackers and honey
Fried avocado with shrimp topped with tomato, cucumber, crunchy breadcrumbs and zesty chili mayo
Salted-baked branzino with sautéed vegetables drizzled with a lemon-butter sauce
Urban River cocktail with tequila and fresh basil, mint and cucumber flavors
Wasabi martini blended with smooth spirits and fresh basil flavor
‘A fusion experience like no other’
“Sea Grill truly has something for everyone. The menu truly reflects the chef’s creativity and passion for blending flavors from different culinary traditions, resulting in an exquisite and satisfying dining experience,” the restaurant’s team said in a release.
“Whether you are a seafood lover, a meat enthusiast, or simply someone looking to try something new and exciting, Sea Grill is the perfect destination for a memorable meal.”
