If you’re like us and have been anxiously awaiting the opening of Peppervine, SouthPark’s newest restaurant being opened by the owners of Artisanal in Banner Elk — well, it’s finally here.

Executive chef Bill Greene and General Manager Anita Greene will open for business on Friday at 4620 Piedmont Row Drive. The Greenes will run the kitchen and service, and they have teamed up with Robert and Robb Lackey of Imagine One for management.

Expect curated cocktails and wine, including The A5 Negroni. “The A5 Negroni is an interesting and complex riff on the Negroni. It’s a surprise hit, it’s a very unique interpretation of the classic cocktail with unexpected elements such as wagyu fat infusion,” Bill Greene stated on Instagram.

The menu will feature foods such as Pimento Cheese Scones, Squid Ink Buccatini with charred octopus, Alaska King Crab with yuzu butter, smoked pineapple kimchi and king trumpet mushrooms.

The restaurant’s first rotating art collection will be on display, with pieces from the local Shain Gallery.

Artisanal has been featured in the OpenTable Top 100 and was given a StarChefs’ Rising Star Chef Award in 2013, according to The Charlotte Observer.
