If you thought Sleepy Poet was cool before, wait ‘til you see its new coffee bar
If you’re an avid shopper, you know how much energy it can require to find the perfect items sometimes. The Sleepy Poet Antique Mall understands this and recently added a full-service coffee bar to its Charlotte location. After all, what’s better than coffee and shopping?
As one of the city’s largest antiques stores, Sleepy Poet has over 60,000 square feet of vintage goodness. Now, the store is kicking things up a notch.
“We wanted to give customers and families more options while they shop,” Jason Shreffler, manager of The Sleepy Poet Charlotte, told CharlotteFive.
The new coffee bar opened this past weekend and is complete with all of your favorites. Order a latte, cappuccino, or cold brew. Non-dairy options are courtesy of Oatly.
Sleepy Poet is using Charlotte-based Pure Intentions Coffee. It also has healthy vegetarian and vegan small bites such as soups, salads and sandwiches courtesy of Beverly’s Gourmet Foods.
If you’re someone who likes to stop and enjoy your coffee and snacks, there is a small seating area with a television near the bar.
As of now, the hours for the coffee bar will mirror those of the store.
