Saturday, March 4: Triple ‘B’ at Triple C

Enjoy a night of Triple B—barbecue (Mac’s Speed Shop), beer (Triple C) and a band (Underground Detour)—this Saturday. Wine will also be available. The event is hosted by Dilworth Community Association and Dilworth Facial Plastic Surgery, and 100 percent of the proceeds from the event support the work of Dilworth Soup Kitchen.

Thursday, March 9: Drink Positive

Didn’t snag a ticket to the sold-out-in-minutes Brawley’s Black & Blue on March 18? On March 9, the Park Road shop is partnering with Free Range Brewing to kick off a new monthly live music and craft beer “Drink Positive!” series, which will raise funds for a local charity by donating a percentage of the night’s proceeds. First up: Refugee Support Services, which helps refugees who have been resettled in Charlotte.

Sip on something at HousingFest, a concert to end homelessness presented by The Urban Ministry Center, an interfaith organization created to unite Charlotte to end chronic homelessness. St. Paul & The Broken Bones will be rocking it out. BONUS: From now until March 11, Triple C will donate $1 for every pint of Zest-A-Peel sold.
