Maverick Rock Taco on Montford to close Aug. 7
Maverick Rock Taco on Montford Drive is closing, with its last day of business set for Aug. 7. The business announced the closure on its Facebook page, but didn’t say why it was closing. An employee said a concept called Carmella’s Pizza will replace it. (Because we definitely need more pizza in Charlotte.)
The restaurant, owned by the same group that owns Nolen Kitchen and ilios noche, will celebrate its final day with a “Sunday Funday Party.” Time to fill up on margaritas and tacos.
