We made a ‘Top Chef’ Drinking Game -- with a little help from Jamie Lynch
You may have heard that Jamie Lynch, executive chef of 5Church in uptown Charlotte, is on the latest season of “Top Chef.” The show airs Thursday at 10 p.m. on Bravo. You could just watch it — or you could play along with the C5 Top Chef Drinking Game.
The C5 staff — along with some help from Jamie Lynch himself — compiled this list of rules. Get your drinks ready and play along with C5 on Twitter using the hashtag #CLT5TopChef.
Disclaimer: Be smart. Drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive.
One Drink:
1. Padma says “Utensils down, hands up.”
2. Any time a word is bleeped out.
3. When a contestant spills or drops pots and pans/food.
4. Any time an argument breaks out.
5. Any time a dish wasn’t seasoned properly.
6. Jamie is on screen (2 drinks if he’s wearing his hat).
7. Anytime someone blushes in Padma’s presence.
8. Anytime a contestant says things are not fair.
9. Tom criticizes seasoning of a dish.
Two Drinks:
1. Any time a chef mentions that ____ is in his/her area of expertise.
2. Any time Charlotte or 5Church is mentioned.
3. Any time there’s tears.
4. Any time Jamie’s tattoos are mentioned.
5. Judges are disappointed in a dish.
6. Any time a body part is mentioned.
7. Any time a contestant references sabotage or hoodwink.
Finish your drink:
1. Jamie burns more vegetables/other food.
2. A contestant is cut/kicked off.
3. Jamie wins a quickfire/elimination challenge.
