Uptown is getting a new restaurant — called a ‘steakhouse for the modern era’
Charlotte will soon get a permanent taste of one of Forbes ‘top 100 steakhouses’. Georgia-based Little Alley Steakhouse will open its newest location in uptown’s Hearst Tower.
The restaurant, owned by F&H Food Trading Group, is known for its cuts of 100 percent Black Angus beef from Chicago butcher Meats by Linz. Choose from aged cuts of beef including the 28-day-aged barrel-cut filet or 45-day-aged bone-in New York strips.
In addition to steak, Little Alley has become popular for its seafood options, charcuterie program as well as a drink menu that offers over 100 bourbons. Its extensive wine list will pair with a full decanting service.
The 8,600-square-foot space will feature a floor-to-ceiling wine room, private dining areas and an outdoor patio.
“We just love the city skyline and Hearst Tower is so identifiable,” F&H Food Trading Group co-owner Hicham Azhari told CharlotteFive. “Once we saw the space we knew it’s where we wanted to be.” The restaurant group calls Little Alley Steak a “steakhouse for a modern era.”
Little Alley’s original steakhouse opened in Roswell, Georgia, in 2012. Its second location opened in the Buckhead area of Atlanta in 2018. Charlotte will be the brand’s third location, which is slated to open near the end of the year.
