A familiar barbecue restaurant adding Charlotte-area locations will open a Concord spot
Mac’s Speed Shop is opening another spot where customers can dine on Hickory-Smoked Pulled Pork or a Chopped Brisket Sammie.
The new location of the barbecue restaurant will open In late spring or early summer of 2022 near Concord Mills Mall, just off the I-85 Speedway Blvd exit, and will feature a lighted vehicle display.
The restaurant will be designed for socializing and enjoying tunes while you’re grabbing a bite. A large outdoor patio will include a stage for live music, along with an interior stage in an indoor/outdoor room and bar. Fireplaces will warm up the outdoor dining area,
“With with two raised stages, expansive outdoor seating and an extended parking bay for bike and car staging, live music will be a big part of our promotional calendar,” said Mac’s Hospitality Group’s President, Shang Skipper. “We’ll do everything possible to turn locals, mall-shoppers and race fans from all over into Mac’s fans.”
The announcement comes on the heels of Mac’s plans to open a new location in Mooresville and one in Fort Mill, as well.
