For more than 25 years, Charlotte Boy Scouts have been cranking out thousands of pounds of barbecue pork, Brunswick Stew and more — and Charlotte has been chowing down. Now, the annual fundraiser to support scouting is back.

Boy Scout volunteers will be cranking up 30 drum smokers stocked with 3 cords of hickory wood to smoke 7000 pounds of pork shoulders to feed hungry patrons. The proceeds will support scouting activities, including monthly camping trips and a high adventure trip to the Bahamas this summer.
