Want to celebrate National Margarita Day? Head to these Charlotte restaurants and bars
Is it a coincidence that National Margarita Day falls on Taco Tuesday in 2022, or should we call it fate?
In Charlotte, several local restaurants are celebrating the Tequila-based cocktail made popular in the 1950s. Whether you like the drink frozen or on the rocks, with salt or without, Charlotte bars have your favorite marg on the menu. Our friends over at Scoop Charlotte have pointed out that the holiday falls on a Palindrome, too. That can’t just be the tequila talking — Tuesday 2/22/22 is officially a special day.
Check out these Charlotte bars and restaurants to get a margarita, including some offering special drinks in 2022:
800° Woodfired Kitchen/Bar One Lounge

What to order: The restaurant has 140-150 tequilas available behind the bar, so it can be difficult to pick just one! Go for The National Margarita Day special, which will be available on Feb. 22 only: The Texas Red River Margarita ($13), which will feature one of the restaurant’s favorites, Jose Cuervo Tradicional Blanco. It will also have Cointreau, lime, ruby red grapefruit juice, blood orange, a fresh jalapeño slice and will be served in a salt-rimmed margarita glass and served with an orange slice garnish.
