Gastropub Harry’s Quail Corners restaurant is now open
The new location of Harry’s Grille & Tavern now has an opening date. You’ll be able to stop by for a Derby Cobb salad at lunch or a few Salmon Tacos at dinner starting Wednesday, March 30.
The Quails Corner restaurant will have 4,673-square-foot of space for guests to dine on American gastropub fare and local craft beer. It will also introduce a signature cocktail program, curated by Charlotte mixologist Bob Peters. Staff had planned for a March 16 opening, but had to push back the date after an unexpected delay.
“I’ve always associated good food with friends and family,” said John McClone, director of food and beverage for New Forum, Harry’s parent company. “We want to provide an upscale but comfortable neighborhood place that groups can gather to enjoy delicious food and drinks together.”
Focusing on American gastropub food, options include Fried Green Tomatoes, Blackened Salmon Salad, Bison-Chipotle Meatloaf, Bone-in Berkshire Pork Chop and Black Label Burgers. The menu is heavy on seafood, as well, with offerings such as a Shrimp Wedge salad and Shrimp & Grits.
The restaurant will be open to serve lunch, dinner and weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are available, as well as online ordering.
