A Charlotte chef and one half of the dynamic duo behind Bayhaven Restaurant Group will strive to bring home a James Beard Award for his restaurant, Leah & Louise. It’s Greg Collier’s third time being nominated as a Best Chef and the big day is almost here.

Starting at 6:30 ET on Monday, June 13, Collier and the other finalists in the category will convene at the Lyric Opera House of Chicago, a venue that typically hosts musical greats, but will soon be a gathering place for culinary icons.

If you can’t make it to Chicago to cheer on Charlotte’s own Chef Collier, or if you couldn’t snag a ticket in time, fear not — all hope is not lost.

According to the James Beard Foundation’s website, the Awards will be broadcast live to the public on the James Beard Foundation’s official Twitter feed.

Of course, that means non-tweeters will have to finally create an account to watch the live broadcast, but it’s a small ask for a great reward — especially if Collier manages to validate that one classic and age-old saying: Third time’s a charm!
