Here are 6 National Ice Cream Day deals and special flavors to check out in Charlotte
The perfect summer treat will get its day in the sun on Sunday as Charlotte and communities across the country recognize a hallmark of the season, National Ice Cream Day.
In recognition of the exciting holiday, many Charlotte area ice cream spots will have deals on Sunday and throughout the week and month, which is actually National Ice Cream Month. In addition to those deals on frozen treats, some ice cream shops are also offering special release flavors.
Here are the National Ice Cream Day deals and special releases to check out this Sunday in and around Charlotte:
Baskin-Robbins
Location: Multiple locations
Neighborhood: Ballantyne, Gastonia, Pineville/South Charlotte, South End
What to know: Starting Sunday and running through July 23, Baskin-Robbins will offer $5 off any purchase of $15 or more. You’ll need to scan the Baskin-Robbins app if ordering in store, or use the code BECOOLER at checkout if ordering online. The discount will also be applied to orders placed through delivery apps such as DoorDash, Uber Eats and Postmates.
Coldstone Creamery

What to know: Coldstone Creamery will offer $4 off purchases of $20 or more Sunday through July 21 for National Ice Cream Day. To unlock the offer, you need to download the Coldstone app and make a My Cold Stone Club account. Online orders placed between Friday through Sunday will also be eligible for free delivery.
Dairy Queen

What to know: You can get $1 off any dipped cone purchase Sunday at Dairy Queen locations.
Krispy Kreme

What to know: The Charlotte area has already been treated to Krispy Kreme testing out its new soft serve at local locations, and the chain will offer an extra incentive to try the ice cream out this weekend. Customers on Sunday who buy any “Original Glazed Soft Service” offering will get a second ice cream offering of equal or lesser value for free.
