Where’s the best bacon, egg & cheese in Charlotte? We asked — and our readers answered
Whether you’re a recent Queen City transplant or a Charlotte native, one thing we can all agree upon is breakfast — namely, the unmatched beauty of the sacred bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Luckily for us, restaurateurs in North Carolina can make a BEC just as well as the bodega and deli masters anywhere else can.
Earlier this month, we asked Charlotteans which establishment in the city serves up the best bacon, egg and cheese sandwich; and they delivered. But, the hunt doesn’t stop there.
Up next, one of CharlotteFive’s token New Yorkers and an avid fan of the classic BEC (yours truly) will put each of the Readers’ Choice top 10 vendors to the test. New York is known for its BECs, and this New Yorker knows the sandwich well.
