Food and Drink

The Charlotte Hornets revealed these slam dunk concessions. Which is the best food?

As the Charlotte Hornets prepare to kick off the 2022-23 season in October, let us help elevate your game day experience at the Spectrum Center — and that includes figuring out what you’re going to eat.

Before you go, know that all Spectrum Center concession stands offer mobile ordering and express pickup through the Hornets App. And leave your cash at home — the Spectrum Center has gone 100% cashless. (But you can find reverse ATMs in the arena to convert cash to card if it’s necessary.)

Let’s just say — some people outside of Charlotte are jealous. When Charlotte Observer’s KJ Edelman tweeted about the food options, there were replies:

What are they jealous of?

Now, let’s get to the food (get a sneak peak on CharlotteFive’s Tiktok).

Here’s a look at what Hornets fans can get to eat on game day:

  • Carolina crab cakes
  • Chef’s Market Garden Vegetables, served with buttermilk ranch dip.
  • Churros with chocolate sauce.
  • Four cheese flatbread
  • Lemon chicken board: Marinated, grilled chicken with Little Gem potatoes and grilled vegetables.
  • Mac Daddy: Loaded mac and cheese with pulled pork and barbecue sauce.
