Indian Land restaurant The Office Craft Bar & Kitchen has expanded with a second location that’s now open in the former Dean & DeLuca space in StoneCrest at Piper Glen in South Charlotte.

The Office’s new 4,000-square-foot space location offers a new place for sports fans to watch games with a crowd and for families to dine together.

The restaurant will also include 2,000 square feet of outdoor dining space once its patio is complete, perfect for sipping a craft cocktail al fresco and sharing an order of roasted red pepper hummus with friends.

Here’s what you can expect at The Office’s new location:

The food: The menu offers a variety of shareables such as nachos, dips and wings, along with burgers, salads and pizzas. Entrees include rotisserie chicken, ribs, salmon and even zucchini spaghetti. There’s a kids menu, too.

The drinks: You’ll find a full bar, including beer, wine and cocktails.

The space: The ownership team described the new location as having a “South End feel in the Ballantyne area.” Indoors, the upscale space carries similar decor as the original location, which is filled with leather-covered booths and seats, paired with calm, neutral walls.

Outdoors, guests will find 1,300 square feet of dining area and 700 square feet for the bar — accessible both indoors and outside. The heated and air conditioned year-round patio still under construction will be entirely covered, with removable drop screens, and it will include a double-sided fireplace.

The atmosphere: Guests can expect to find the same energy as The Office’s current location, summed up as: “It’s always 5 ’o clock at The Office.” TVs are hung all over, and you’ll find a crowd where singles, families and sports fans all blend in.

The original Indian Land location opened in 2019, and plans for a third restaurant are in the works, as well.
