Where to make reservations for your dine-in Thanksgiving dinner in Charlotte

Thanksgiving 2023 approaches, and figuring out the food is the most important task. One of the things we’re most thankful for this year is Charlotte area restaurants that will be open to serve us for the holiday.
Of course, you can always pre-order a Thanksgiving meal and reheat it to serve, as well. But if you prefer to let someone else handle the dishes and cleanup entirely, making reservations is where it’s at. (You can also check out Thanksgiving pre-order meal options.)
You’ll find options including prix fixe meals, buffet-style dining and a la carte options to ensure something for everyone on your guest list. But don’t wait — reservations for holiday lunches and dinners fill up fast.
Here are Charlotte-area restaurants that are open to serve you on Thanksgiving Day, which falls on Nov. 23 this year:
Angeline’s
Location: 303 S Church St, Charlotte, NC 28202
Angeline’s Thanksgiving meal will be a prix fixe menu, although a limited dinner menu will be available, as well.
The menu will include:
- Slow roasted pumpkin soup and Harvest Salad
- Herb roasted turkey served with gravy and cranberry agrodolce marmalade
- Roasted and charred Brussels sprouts tossed with heirloom gem tomatoes, bacon and chili jam
- Mashed roasted sweet potatoes topped with toasted marshmallows and candy pecans
- House made focaccia bread
- Sautéed french green beans
- Dessert options include a selection of house-made pie bars (apple, pecan and caramel, and pumpkin), served with assorted fall flavors of chocolate truffles.
Price: $45 per adult for prix fixe meal, with $25 for kids 5–12 and kids under 5 free.
Hours: Breakfast service is available 8-10 a.m. Dinner service is 2-8 p.m., with the last reservation at 6:30 p.m.

The Asbury
Location: 235 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202
Thanksgiving at The Asbury will incorporate chef Tim Groody’s favorite fall flavors with family-style appetizers and sides, and your choice of entrée and dessert.
Items on the menu include:
- For the table: bacon and pickled green bean poppers, sticky biscuits, deviled eggs
- Individual entrée choice: roasted turkey and gravy, glazed pork shoulder steak with a honey glaze, mushroom and vegetable stuffed collards or oven-baked coastal shrimp and crab stuffed mountain trout
- Family-style sides: mashed potatoes and gravy, fried Brussels sprouts, brown butter carrots and sweet potatoes with spicy pecans, broccoli and cauliflower casserole
- Individual dessert choice: caramel spiced apple cake, pumpkin cheesecake with peanut brittle or chocolate and paw paw trifle.
Price: $45 for adults, $15 for children 12 and younger.

The Capital Grille
Location: 201 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202
The Capital Grille is offering a special Thanksgiving menu for those who want to dine-in, in addition to its regular dinner menu.
The menu will include:
Slow-roasted turkey with brioche sage stuffing
French green beans
Cranberry-pear chutney
Sam’s mashed potatoes
Pecan-crusted sweet potatoes with hot honey
Pumpkin cheesecake
Price: $50 for adults, $20 for children
Hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Cracker Barrel
Location: Multiple, including Charlotte, Concord, Fort Mill, Gastonia, Kannapolis, Matthews, Mooresville and Rock Hill
Cracker Barrel will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving, serving up its full menu of all-day breakfast and Southern favorites. New holiday menu items will be available, as well, including country fried turkey, broccoli cheese casserole and cinnamon roll pie.
Price: A la carte
Hours: Vary by location, but most are open until 9 p.m. or 10 p.m.

Church and Union
Location: 127 N Tryon St #8, Charlotte, NC 28202
Church and Union is serving a special three-course prix-fixe menu for Thanksgiving.
The menu will include:
Sauteed Brussels sprouts
Roasted cauliflower soup
Southern salad
Roasted cauliflower steak
60 South Salmon
9 oz. filet
Turkey two ways
Garlic mashed potatoes
Green beans
Cornbread stuffing
Chef’s selection ice cream and sorbet
Carrot cake

Eat, Gay, Love 2023
Location: Billy Sunday at Optimist Hall, 1115 N Brevard St UNIT 1, Charlotte, NC 28206
Queen City Nerve and Billy Sunday are partnering to host a free Thanksgiving dinner for anyone in search of community. Curbside pickup is also available for anyone who does not feel comfortable being inside the space for dinner. Leftovers will go to Block Love CLT, which feeds people experiencing homelessness.
Price: Free, although donations of time, food and supplies are requested.
Hours: 2-5 p.m.

Eddie V’s
Location: 101 S Tryon St #100, Charlotte, NC 28280
Eddie V’s is hosting a Thanksgiving celebration with a special menu and live music for guests dining in at the restaurant.
The menu will include:
Hand-carved slow-roasted turkey with gravy
Brioche sage stuffing
Cranberry chutney
Roasted butternut squash
Hand-whipped mashed potatoes
Pumpkin pie tartlet.
Price: $50 per adult, $20 for children
Hours: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

The Fox & The Falcon by David Burke
Location: 4905 Ashley Park Ln. Charlotte, NC 28210
The Fox & The Falcon by David Burke, the modern steakhouse recently opened by celebrity chef David Burke, will feature an a la carte Thanksgiving menu.
The Thanksgiving menu will include:
- Butternut squash soup with goat cheese ravioli and candied pecans
- Lobster dumplings with tomato miso sauce, basil oil and confit lemon
- Heritage turkey breast with fall stuffing, roasted sweet potatoes, green beans and cranberry compote
- Pumpkin risotto with herb crusted shrimp with goat cheese, cranberries and fried sage
- Cavatappi Lobster Mac & Cheese with three cheeses, tarragon and blistered tomatoes
- Pumpkin Crème Brulee with fresh berries
- Trifle of pecan with caramel and vanilla ice cream.

Items may vary by location, but the holiday lineup will likely include:
- Carved roasted turkey, glazed ham and beef roast
- Chicken pot pie, King Ranch chicken
- Mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing
- Cranberry sauce and cinnamon apples
- Sweet potato casserole
- Yeast rolls
- Pecan pie and pumpkin pie.
Price: Lunch is $12.22 and dinner is $15.99, but may vary by location.

La Belle Helene

La Belle Helene in uptown Charlotte will be serving a three-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving meal this year. The menu includes:

In addition to its regular dinner menu, McCormick & Schmick’s will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner menu prepared by chef James Montejano.
The menu includes:

Napa at Kingsley and Napa on Providence are both serving three-course prix-fixe meals for Thanksgiving.

New South Kitchen & Bar is offering a multi-course Thanksgiving meal for guests this year. The menu includes:
- Choice of mixed greens salad, Chesapeake Bay Oyster Stew, Pimento cheese with flatbread or Tasso ham fritters
- Choice of deep fried turkey breast, slow roasted pork shoulder or rosemary & mustard crusted rib roast
- Choice of three sides: sausage & cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, collards or green beans
- Choice of apple crisp, pumpkin pie bread pudding or chocolate mousse.
Price: Varies with protein choice. Turkey is $45, pork is $42 and rib roast is $65.

Port City Club by David Burke’S Thanksgiving meal will be a three-course prix fix menu. The meal includes:
- Choice of appetizer: Mixed green salad, tuna tartare tacos, DB Clothesline Bacon, butternut squash ravioli, lobster bisque, Oysters Rockefeller or lobster dumplings.
- Choice of main: Thanksgiving plate, seasonal flatbread, pappardelle bolognese, pan-roasted chicken, pan-seared flounder, Atlantic salmon, shrimp scampi and scallops or DB filet mignon.
- Choice of dessert: Pumpkin cheesecake, pecan pie or apple pie.
Price: $59 per adult, $28 per child 10 and under

- Second course: Traditional Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and spiral ham, prime rib or lemon dill salmon.
- Third course: Pumpkin cream cheesecake, chocolate layer cake or coconut cream cake.
Price: $45 per person, including soft drinks or lemonade

Steak 48

Steak 48 will be offering a special Thanksgiving meal, along with its its full menu. In addition to turkey, the restaurant’s holiday menu will include:
Buttermilk whipped potatoes
Chef’s fresh herb steakhouse stuffing
Chef’s creamy or Alaskan rock shrimp mac and cheese
Whipped praline sweet potato
Black truffle green peppercorn gravy
Classic holiday cranberry sauce
Pumpkin pie.

Stoke is offering three seatings for Thanksgiving Day meals.

Hours: Seatings will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
