While many restaurants are closed for Christmas, there are a few open in Charlotte where you can eat a holiday meal — especially if you plan in advance with reservations.
We’ve rounded up a few dining options for you at Charlotte restaurants open for service on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day:
Acqua Ragazza
Location: 201 N Church St suite 102, Mooresville, NC 28115
Acqua Ragazza will be open for Christmas Eve brunch and will close out the evening with a Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner from 4-9 p.m.

Angeline’s

Angeline’s is open for Christmas Eve brunch from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Christmas morning breakfast will be available 8-11 a.m., and Christmas dinner service will be 2-8 p.m.
The specials will include:
- Winter Salad with local winter lettuce, pears, pomegranate, candied nuts, goat cheese and maple balsamic dressing
- Prime Rib with red wine jus, tallow potatoes, petite greens and horseradish sauce
- Pan Seared Scallops with saffron risotto, eggplant ragout
- Angeline’s Chicken Parmesan with herb breadcrumb, bucatini, red sauce and Parmesan reggiano
- Grilled Eggplant Agrodolce with charred eggplant, black garlic aioli, aleppo, crispy winter squash chips, toasted pine nuts and argumato oil.

The Gallery restaurant at The Ballantyne is offering a variety of holiday dining options this Christmas.:
- Christmas A la Carte Brunch at Gallery Restaurant: Dec. 24 and 25. Guests can enjoy Gallery’s Brunch menu.
- Christmas Evening at Gallery Restaurant: Dec. 24 and 25. Savor a four-course curated menu with holiday libations.
- Christmas Day Ballantyne Ballroom Buffet: Dec. 25, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Guests can enjoy an elegant array of curated cuisine and delightful desserts accompanied by live music in the Ballantyne Ballroom.
Price: Brunch offers la carte pricing ranging from $15-$50. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus are $95 per person, plus service charge and sales tax. Christmas Day buffet is $95 per adult plus tax and service fee, and $45 per child ages 12 and under.

Chima Steakhouse will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, serving its regular menu. Customers ordering the complete rodizio can fill their plates from gauchos roaming the dining room, offering proteins including sirloin, filet, ribs, lamb, pork, chicken, sausage and fish.
