Popular restaurant chain is closing a prime Charlotte location. What we know.
Chili’s Bar & Grill is set to close one of its prime Charlotte locations, a national spokesperson for the popular Tex-Mex chain confirmed Saturday.
The Chili’s at 8136 Providence Road in the Arboretum is closing because “the lease expired,” spokesperson Deme Jackson told The Charlotte Observer in an email.
Jackson offered no further details, including when the location will close.
The restaurant’s last day is Tuesday, Jan. 9, an employee who answered the phone at the location told the Observer on Saturday.
She said a manager was unavailable for comment but that employees were informed of the closing by a Chili’s district manager.
