Gibson Mill Market is expanding its food hall with two more stores opening this spring.

Piatto Fresco, a Mediterranean eatery, and Gelato di Luna, a gelato shop from the owner of Taco Street, will both open in May, the Concord market said Monday.

“They bring fresh flavors to our mix,” Gibson Mill Market manager Sarah Tulbert said in a statement.

What to expect

The two new concepts’ menus at Gibson Mill Market will include:

Piatto Fresco, led by 25-year chef Adam Schorr and wife Omayra, will serve Mediterranean-inspired pitas, platters, salads and sides made with locally sourced ingredients.

Gelato di Luna will offer handcrafted gelato, Italian sodas and other Italian-style desserts. It’s the latest venture from the team behind Taco Street, one of the market’s most popular vendors, Gibson Mill Market said.
