Bojangles debuts new biscuit, but it won’t stick around. When can you get it?

Bojangles is adding to its biscuit offerings, but the new item won’t stick around.

Fans can sink their teeth into the new smothered steak biscuit, available now at participating Bojangles restaurants nationwide, the chicken and biscuit chain said in a news release.

The limited-time sandwich is available all day and features a country-fried steak topped with sausage gravy. It’s then served on a classic “made from scratch” biscuit.

A golden-brown biscuit is sliced and holds a filling of a breaded patty, likely country fried steak, which is generously topped with white gravy. The gravy drips down the sides, contrasting with the rich color of the biscuit and steak, all set against a black background.
There’s a new biscuit joining Bojangles lineup, but not for long. Bojangles

“Country fried steak is a Southern delicacy, especially when served on one of our fluffy buttermilk biscuits, and what way to make it better than topping it with our house-made sausage gravy,” Marshall Scarborough, vice president of menu and culinary innovation at Bojangles, said in the release.

It’s the latest addition to Bojangles’ biscuit lineup, appearing alongside crowd favorites like the Cajun filet and sausage Bo-berry biscuits.

The smothered steak biscuit is available to order in-store and online through January 2026, a Bojangles spokesperson told CharlotteFive. Pricing starts at $4.49 but may vary by location.
