Celebrate New Year’s Eve at a Michelin-recognized Charlotte restaurant

For a twist on a traditional New Year’s Eve celebration this year, why not celebrate in a way that’s oh-so-2025: at a Charlotte restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide?

Sure, you can get a Champagne toast anywhere, but if you go for one of these now-famous 13 places, your countdown to midnight will come with a multi-course meal, a tribute to a famous artist or some globally inspired dishes.

Here’s what you need to know about making reservations:

Counter-

Location: 2001 W Morehead St D, Charlotte, NC 28208

Counter- is paying “the ultimate tribute” to artist Salvador Dali on New Year’s Eve with its Dali New Year’s Eve Gala. Your 20-course meal will include wine pairings and recipes from Gala Dali. Note that Vegan, dairy and nut restrictions are unable to be accommodated with this meal.

Reservations: This event is sold out, but you can ask the restaurant to notify you if something opens up.

Hello, Sailor

Reservations are booked for Hello, Sailor on New Year’s Eve. However, as of this publication, there were some spots available on Resy for New Year’s Day brunch, if you are so inclined.

At beloved Italian-American restaurant Little Mama’s, seats were booking up at time of publication, but a few early spots were available still in SouthPark; spots were available via Rea Farms as well.

On New Year’s Eve, Omakase by Prime Fish will be highlighting the peak of its seasonal winter menu ingredients from Japan.

Prime Fish Sushi

On New Year’s Eve, Prime Fish Sushi in Ballantyne will offer an a la carte menu and a few specials.

Reservations: Walk-in only; Prime Fish does not take reservations.

Rada

Location: 2820 Selwyn Ave Ste 180, Charlotte, NC 28209

At newcomer Rada, it’s first New Year’s Eve menu will be a la carte, with curated accompaniments from chef Callan Buckles.

Restaurant Constance

Location: 2200 Thrift Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208

Restaurant Constance has only 10 tables, so spending your New Year’s Eve here will be an intimate experience, and one to remember. As of Tuesday, Dec. 16, very few reservations were left, the restaurant told CharlotteFive.

Supperland

Location: 1212 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28205

The Bar at Supperland will host a six-course dinner by Chef Joe Hutton and team at 8 p.m. Limited seating is available — as of publication, it was nearly sold out. The Bar at Supperland will open to the public after the dinner ends (around 11 p.m.) and offer the regular drink menu until 12:30 a.m.

Note: The restaurant’s regular dinner menu (plus a few celebratory chefs’ features) will be served in Supperland’s main dining room. Price: $199/person + tax/gratuity (includes a glass of champagne); option to add wine pairings at checkout or night-of.

Reservations: Available via Tock.
