Charlotte’s Queen’s Feast has been extended. Here’s how you can get dining deals
Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week, the twice-a-year promotion that offers diners a chance to eat a multi-course meal at a fixed price, will last just a little bit longer than usual.
The promotion — originally set to last from Friday, Jan. 23-Sunday, Feb. 1 — has now been extended to varying dates through Feb. 8 at several participating restaurants, where you can eat for $30 to $55 per person. Afterward, we’ll be waiting until July for the discount dining event to return.
“Winter Storm Fern took quite a bite out of the restaurants’ business over the weekend, with widespread reservation cancellations and closures,” Bruce Hensley — a partner in Hensley Fontana Public Relations, which owns and operates the promotion — said in a news release before a second winter storm brought another hit.
“Restaurateurs are ready and eager to provide diners fun evenings and fine meals after a stretch of stay-at-home weather.”
Reservations are recommended for dining at the participating restaurants in nine counties: Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Cleveland, Union, Lincoln, Catawba, Stanly and York, SC.
