New family-run restaurant brings Asian flavors to Eastland. Here’s what to know

If you’re craving Asian cuisine, there’s a new restaurant to check out in Eastland.

RiceZilla, a family-run restaurant fusing authentic Thai and Burmese flavors, is now open in the Eastland Promenade, CharlotteEast shared in a recent Instagram post.

Slices of seared beef are tossed with red onion, cilantro, and fresh chilies, served over a bed of crisp cabbage. The dish is presented in a circular frame, highlighting the vibrant colors and fresh herbs typical of Asian-inspired cuisine.

Nestled next to the Myanmar Asian Market, foodies can expect noodle dishes, curry, soups and more.

“Every dish we serve carries the warmth of our family kitchen and the rich culinary traditions of Thailand, carefully preserved and shared with love,” the restaurant’s website says.

A generous pile of golden-brown, battered calamari rings is garnished with fresh cilantro and served on a white rectangular plate. A small side of bright orange sweet chili dipping sauce completes the presentation.
