Michelin-recommended steakhouse is coming to Charlotte. How to get an early look
A Michelin-recommended steakhouse is moving ahead with opening in Charlotte this fall by offering foodies a few sneak peeks at what’s to come.
Guard and Grace, which already has locations in Denver and Houston, is now under construction on the 10th floor of the Vivian at Queensbridge Collective.
The 10,224-square-foot space will include a full-service bar and private dining rooms, along with a 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace with skyline views.
The Denver location of the TAG Restaurant Group steakhouse, led by founder and executive chef Troy Guard Denver location is Michelin recommended. Its entry notes: “Steaks are the obvious draw but a full seafood bar is a close second.”
Guard and Grace offers oak-fired prime beef, seafood towers and other raw bar offerings, house-made charcuterie and seasonal vegetarian dishes. High-end cocktails, an extensive wine collection and beer is available to pair with your meal.
How to get an early look at Guard and Grace
Ahead of the opening, Guard is collaborating with notable Charlotte chefs to showcase a curated taste of his menu in Charlotte.
On March 25, chef Andres Kaifer will team up with Guard at Customshop for a night of flavor-forward dishes as part of Savor Charlotte. Reservations are available through OpenTable.
On April 14, James Beard semifinalist chef Chayil Johnson will collaborate with Guard for a night of friends and fellowship over food at Community Matters Cafe. Tickets are $125 per person via Tock.
