Reservations recommended: These are the 10 most-booked restaurants in Charlotte

Reserving a table at your favorite Charlotte restaurant can prove difficult, whether it’s a new hotspot or tried-and-true fixture of the city’s dining scene.

OpenTable recently released an updated list of the most-booked restaurants in the Queen City, from swanky steakhouses to rooftop bistros. There’s even an authentic French bakery in the mix.

The booking website looked at “nearly 500,000 new global diner reviews” and narrowed the results by location to find the top picks among locals.

“It’s a great partnership: you reserve, eat, and review. We listen ... and deliver the results for all to benefit,” OpenTable said.

These are the Top 10 spots in Charlotte where locals are eager to book a booth:

Steak 48

Location: 4425 Sharon Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211

Steak 48 is known for its prime steaks and chops including NY Strip steak, bone-in ribeye and a wagyu tomahawk (if you’ve got $300 to spare). The menu at the SouthPark hotspot also features fresh seafood, salads and signature sides including a double-baked truffle potato and fire roasted cauliflower.

RH Rooftop Restaurant at RH Charlotte

Location: 6903 Phillips Pl Ct, Charlotte, NC 28210

At RH Rooftop Restaurant in SouthPark, diners can enjoy “a menu of timeless classics for brunch and dinner,” alongside a selection artisanal wines and champagnes from across the globe.

Sixty Vines

Location: 1415 Vantage Pk Dr #100, Charlotte, NC 28203

“As ‘the winemaker’s restaurant,’ we deliver wine country inspired-cuisine paired perfectly with 60 wines on our sustainable tap system,” according to the Sixty Vines website. Locals can partake in weekend brunch, lunch and dinner service at the SouthEnd spot. Customer favorites include the Margherita pizza, Brussels sprouts and burrata.

Chima Steakhouse

Location: 139 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202

Chima, an uptown Brazilian steakhouse, serves up premium cuts of premium beef, slow-cooked and served on skewers. Featured dishes run the gamut from filet mignon and Cajun ribeye to ribs and other rotisserie meats. There’s also a salad bar, cheese bread appetizers and dessert.

STK Charlotte

Location: 201 S College St, Charlotte, NC 28202

Nestled in the heart of uptown, STK Charlotte is a modern steakhouse and lounge all under one roof.

“Arrive early for cocktails before a Hornets game or concert, or wind down after exploring nearby bars, breweries, and rooftop lounges with signature STK steaks, seafood towers, maple‑glazed salmon, and espresso martinis in our high‑energy dining room,” the restaurant’s website says.

The Capital Grille

Location: 201 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202

The Capital Grille is best known for its dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood offerings. Customers at the uptown restaurant also have their pick of more than 325 new and old world wines, plus specialty cocktails.

Cafe Monte French Bakery & Bistro

Location: 6700 Fairview Rd #108, Charlotte, NC 28210

Cafe Monte in SouthPark bills itself as an “escape from the everyday,” offering classic pastries and fresh baked breads. The evening menu promises bistro favorites such as duck confit and trout amandine, according to Open Table.

“Our goal … to create a casual-gourmet restaurant for the neighborhood, while utilizing only the freshest ingredients and French culinary traditions to deliver an exceptional experience to our guests,” the bistro’s website says.

Standout dishes include Mussels and Frites, duck confit pizza and duck confit and waffles.
