Raise a glass: One of Charlotte’s biggest wine and food events is almost here

One of Charlotte’s biggest annual food and wine events is back.

Tickets are now on sale for Charlotte Wine + Food Week, which runs Wednesday, April 15 through Sunday, April 19 at various venues around Charlotte.

Wine lovers can indulge in exclusive vintner dinners set at some of Charlotte’s top restaurants, along with a Collector’s Gala & Live Auction crafted to intrigue wine connoisseurs.

The event’s biggest festivity — the Grand Tasting — takes place on Saturday night with sips of more than 100 wines and a few craft beer and cocktail offerings, paired with light bites from Charlotte-area restaurants. Live music plays throughout the lively event, and you can order your favorite wines to savor again home, too.

The beloved Rosé Brunch closes out the events, including the week-long mobile auction featuring wine lots and special experiences.

Proceeds from Charlotte Wine + Food Week benefit Charlotte-area children’s charities, including Beds For Kids, Digi-Bridge, Families Forward Charlotte and Wayfinders. All events are 21+, and rideshares or car services are recommended.

The image features Beet Salad plates with cubes of deep red roasted beets resting on a white creamy base (possibly yogurt or labneh) and a vibrant green sauce (likely pesto or chimichurri). Each is garnished with crushed pistachios and a delicate sprig of fresh dill. Also shown are Braised Meat plates consisting of a mound of tender braised meat over a white purée, topped with a bright orange nest of crispy shredded vegetables (possibly sweet potatoes or carrots) and sliced chives.
