I’m trying every birthday freebie I can find in Charlotte — and I need your help
My birthday isn’t until June 24, which means I’m already thinking about it. And no, I’m not ashamed.
Because I’ve realized something important: Charlotte might be full of free birthday perks, and I’m probably missing out.
So I need your help.
I haven’t personally tested most of these yet, but I know there are deals out there. Places like Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams offer dessert freebies, Pure Green advertises a free smoothie off if you’re signed up, and I’ve heard Denny’s offers a free Grand Slam if you time it right.
But that can’t be it. This is Charlotte. We love a deal, especially one that feels like a gift.
Here’s the plan: Send me your favorite birthday freebies, discounts and steals around the city, including restaurants, coffee shops and bars. If it exists, I want to know about it.
Then, I’ll sign up for as many as possible. And I’ll spend my birthday running around Charlotte cashing them in.
Think of it as a calorie-dense public service.
