Provided Coffee to close NoDa location 8 months after opening

Provided Coffee will be shuttering its NoDa location on Sunday after less than a year in operation.

The brand announced the upcoming closure of its café at 3100 N. Davidson St. on June 8 via its Instagram page, citing “changes to our building.”

The NoDa location — its first to be standalone — originally opened in October 2025, a month after the business closed its previous location in uptown.

“Provided NoDa was a last second life boat to serve Charlotte during the closure of our flagship Uptown location,” the Provided team wrote on its Instagram. “[Our] team worked mornings into nights to get the espresso pulling, and it was completely worth it.”

Currently, Provided operates a second location in Concord inside Nothing New Vintage, as well as a coffee cart that is available for events and pop-ups. Both will continue to operate, and staff working at the NoDa location will join the other two ventures.

The brand’s location in Concord, at 5,000 square feet, is one of the largest coffee shops in the state.

The uptown outpost was located within Street Commerce, which the Provided team wrote was always meant to be “a temporary spot” in an August 2025 Instagram post announcing its closure.

A DJ will provide live music and specials will be available on the shop’s last day of service on June 21.

In a comment under the recent post, the team wrote that “there is no villain in this story.”

“Small business has many twists and turns, and we’ve loved every part of the journey,” the team wrote in the announcement. “[We] will always try new things and take chances because it’s what got us here in the first place.”
