Taste the 2 finalists in our #C5Bites contest at Duckworth’s Kitchen starting Wednesday

We got hungry just typing up the five creative burger fantasies in the #C5Bites build-your-own-burger contest — and we’re even hungrier now that we’ve narrowed them down to two finalists.

It’s time to pick the winner of the contest.

From Wednesday, Aug. 8 through Sunday, Aug. 12, (or while supplies last), head to Duckworth’s Kitchen & Taphouse (4435 Park Road) to try each of the two below creations. Then cast your vote for your favorite in the restaurant. The official winner will be announced next week.

And now, to get your appetite amped up, here are the finalists in the #C5Bites contest.

The carnivore/herbivore confusion burger

Featuring: Plant-based Impossible burger patty + blue cheese + applewood smoked bacon + bacon onion jam + spinach + Impossible sauce = everything good about plant life + everything good about meat life (read: bacon). (Submitted by: Julie P)

The burger inspired by a Cincinnati ‘Lindsay Lohan’ hotdog

Featuring: Beef burger patty + bacon + caramelized onion + goat cheese + arugula + balsamic glaze + toasted bun = is this actually my fave hotdog, or nah? (Submitted by: A.M.)

So head to Duckworth’s Kitchen this week, taste both burgers and vote for your favorite!

Here’s what the two finalists will win:

– First place will receive a $100 gift card to Duckworth’s Kitchen, and bragging rights.

– Second place will receive a $25 gift card to Duckworth’s Kitchen.
