Where they got engaged Soon after moving to Atlanta, the pair went hiking on a waterfall trail. On a bridge, overlooking the area, Jason got down on one knee

Wedding in three words Joyful, relaxed, personal

Color palette White and wood with pops of teal and pink

First dance song “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head” by Dean Martin

Favors Wine keys in FSU colors with their names and wedding date

What made the wedding day special The family ties. They were married in the backyard of Becca’s best friend’s parents on Lake Norman—not far from where Becca’s grandparents had recently renewed their vows for their 50th anniversary. Becca wore her mom’s wedding dress with her grandmother’s pearls, while her dad, who used to own a catering company, baked her wedding cake

Best wedding day activity Giant Jenga and an FSU corn hole set, both made by a bridesmaid

Honeymoon Six days at the Cuisinart Resort in Anguilla

Favorite date night Dinner and a movie

Advice for brides “Ask vendors you’ve already hired for other vendors they recommend,” says Becca. “I wouldn’t have found my amazing videographer or makeup artist if it weren’t for my awesome photographer. And I wouldn’t have found my photographer had my florist not said, ‘If she’s available, you need to hire her.’”

Advice for grooms “Give your groomsmen a detailed schedule for the weekend,” Jason says. “And, as overplayed as it is, get on the dance floor and dance to ‘Shout.’”
