Who’s giving out 600 free burgers today?

In the mood for a free burger today? You’re in luck.

To celebrate the grand opening of Chanticleer Holdings, Inc.’s first Little Big Burger restaurant in Charlotte — and outside of Portland, Oregon — Little Big Burger at 10012 Benfield Road is bestowing a free burger on its first 600 customers.

The restaurant, located in the Prosperity Village shopping center in the University area, has its doors open today from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Unless those 600 burgers are snarfed up — then the establishment will close for the day, opening again Friday.

What to expect of the menu: A burger made with a quarter pound of Certified Angus Beef and served with local brioche buns, Tillamook cheeses, veggies and Camden’s Catsup.

The menu also offers burgers available as a lettuce wrap at no extra charge, veggie burgers (ooh, yes!), truffle fries, local microbrews, cider, root beer floats and more.
