Who: Dr. Michael Bitzer—Provost and Professor of Political Science at Catawba College—joins the C5 Podcast to preview the Charlotte City Elections.

What: On the show, we preview the mayoral race between Vi Lyles and Kenny Smith, the four at-large city council elections, and the seven district races happening in Charlotte.

Anything else?: We also get a pulse on the state of North and South Carolina state politics. In North Carolina, we discuss gerrymandering, redistricting and Gov. Cooper’s first term. For South Carolina, we give an update to the large state scandal that is brewing in the legislature.
