Recipe
- 2 oz. of Vida Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal
- A small bit of saffron
- Homemade eggnog
Combine Mezcal and eggnog in glass and stir. Add saffron if desired.
Eggnog
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 pinches of salt
- 4 egg whites
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color. Gradually add the 1/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine.
