Whether you’ve lived in Charlotte three months or three years, you’ve probably already figured out that the city loves brewery fitness. There’s so many activities going on around the Queen City each week that, if you wanted to, you could schedule all of your weekly workouts exclusively at Charlotte breweries.
The great thing is you don’t even have to travel far from your own Charlotte neighborhood to get your sweat on. No matter which ‘hood you call home, there are plenty of options available so you can try a different brewery fitness class (almost) every day of the week
We’ve already shown you how you can get a complete workout exclusively at breweries in South End. This time, we put together a guide to show you how you can get a complete week of workouts in at breweries in (and around) the NoDa area. From yoga to run clubs and more, check out your workout options from Monday through Sunday.
Monday: Heist Brewery Run Club
(Or: Salud Cerveceria Hip-Hop Yoga)
When: Mondays at 6:30 PM
Where: 2909 N. Davidson St. Charlotte, NC 28205
Length of Run: 1, 3, or 5 mile routes to choose from.
Anything Else? If you ask for one of Heist Brewery’s free Frequent Runner Card, you can get a complimentary menu item after you earn eight stamps. And if you join the Heist Run Club for $25 a year, you can take advantage of: 10% off all food items, a 20 oz. beer pour every time you go to the brewery (run club nights or not!), 20% of Heist apparel, discounts at select local running stores, and a HBRC t-shirt.

Cost: $8, which includes the class and a 10 oz. beer or glass of house wine

Vibe: This is a 60-minute dynamic yoga flow moving to upbeat hip hop music, open to all levels. All you need is a yoga mat and an open mind! Salud Cerveceria is closed on Mondays, but opens exclusively for this class. It will close again after people are finished with their post-class libations.Mondays at 6:45 PM
Tuesday: Bold Missy Brewery Run Club
Where: 610 Anderson St. Charlotte, NC 28205
Length of Run: 1.5, 3, or 5 miles
Anything Else? The route is mostly residential and the vibe is relaxed and fun! Runners receive 50% gourmet Bruno Dogs in the taproom after they’re done.Learn More >>
Wednesday: Bold Missy Brewery Zumba
(Or: NoDa Brewing Run Club)
When: Wednesdays at 7 PM
Where: 610 Anderson St. Charlotte, NC 28205
Cost: $5, which gets you the class and an 8 oz beer.
Instructor: Bold Missy’s own Lybbi Roth.
Vibe: Many people are curious about Zumba but never give it a shot because they “have two left feet” or are worried they’ll embarrass themselves. However, Bold Missy emphasizes that this isn’t a workout… it’s a party!
When: Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
Where: 2921 N. Tryon St., Charlotte, North Carolina 28206
Length of Run: 1, 3 and 5 mile routes
Anything Else? Known as Charlotte’s original brewery run club, this is one group that gets massive as the weather gets nice! Plan to arrive early to snag a spot in the parking lot. Then stick around after the free run for a brew or two, and enjoy a taco from the TIN Kitchen food truck.
Thursday: Free Range Brewing Yoga
Where: 2320 N Davidson St, Charlotte, NC 28205
Cost: Free, but we always encourage yogis to support the brewery by staying for a beer after class!
Instructor: Instructors rotate on a weekly basis between Allison Brewster, Kristen Witkowski, and Erica Kiely. Occasionally, you’ll see a substitute, but typically, your class will be led by one of these three.
Vibe: This is an all-levels vinyasa flow. Usually, the instructors offer modifications to make the flow more or less intense based on students’ level of experience. This class fills up quickly, so get there early! If you’re not in the mood for a beer, Free Range has kombucha, shrub, and cold brew coffee on tap. There’s also usually a food truck outside, so you can grab dinner to enjoy with your drink of choice.
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: The NoDa-rific 5K
(Is this a brewery? No. Is there still beer and running involved? You bet.)
When: Saturdays at 8 AM (Well, technically the group heads out at 8:10 AM, but who’s counting?)
Length of Run: 3.1 or 10 mile routes
Discounts? None, but we encourage runners to stay for a mimosa, Bloody Mary, or a good old fashioned beer after their run.
Anything Else? Dogs are always welcome on the runs, and Jack Beagles allows pets on their patio, so feel free to bring your pup along for the run!
Sunday: NoDa Hop Yoga
When: Sundays at 11 AM
Where: 2921 N Tryon St, Charlotte, North Carolina 28206
Cost: $5, which includes a beer.
Instructor: Courtney Lee Burrow
Vibe: This class is meant to be restorative and refreshing. The TIN Kitchen is on site and has some amazing food you can purchase after class. Run club starts at 12 PM, so many yogis enjoy the class and then head for a run before coming back and enjoying some tacos and beer.
