You’ve voted. We listened. And we have a winner in the CharlotteFive/Two Scoops Creamery #C5Scoop ice cream flavor contest.

In case you missed it, we asked for your most creative ice cream flavor ideas a few weeks ago, then narrowed it down to the 10 best. Then you voted online to decide the top three flavors — Blueberry Cheesecake, Kitchen Sink and The Salty Queen — which Two Scoops made and served in its shop last week so you could go, try them and vote for a favorite.

But there could only be one winner. Based on votes tallied at Two Scoops last week, the ice cream champion is …

1st Place: Kitchen Sink

I knew after reading the top three flavors, this would probably be my favorite. Potato chips and Oreos in ice cream is a dream come true. There’s nothing like the mix of salt and chocolate, am I right?

Winnings: Gift card to Two Scoops + a pint of their own creation + bragging rights.

2nd Place: Blackberry Cheesecake

Blackberry ice cream, cheesecake bites, rainbow sprinkles, and white chocolate chips. (Submitted by Amanda D.)

At first, I was wondering how this combo would actually be good. But one bite in, I was luckily proven wrong. The blackberries and cheesecake bites added a tart-like taste while the sprinkles and white chocolate chips added a hint of sweetness. It was berry good (I hate myself).

3rd Place: The Salty Queen

Vanilla ice cream with salted caramel, peanut butter swirls, and crushed pretzels. (Submitted by Natalie O.)

Clearly, if you’re a peanut butter fan and you didn’t get to try this flavor, you missed out. It was like reliving your cafeteria lunch days when your mom packed you a peanut butter sandwich with a side of pretzels. I want this flavor to come back … and I want it now.
