(1) Relax on the lawn at the Promenade on Providence

Friday- Saturday, 7-10 p.m. Free. Promenade on Providence, Providence Road and Ballantyne Commons Parkway.

Every Friday and Saturday this summer, the Promenade on Providence is hosting their live music and movie nights. Grab a lawn chair or blanket and come hang out for Music on the Green. June 23 features Russel ‘n’ Woods Band and June 24 features McGroover.

(2) Feast at Food Truck Friday

Friday, 5-9 p.m. Free. Sycamore Brewing, 2161 Hawkins St.

Hit up the brewery every Friday to dine on 12 delicious CLT food trucks. If you’re feeling thirsty, just duck into Sycamore to grab some beer. Bring your family, friends, a date, your dog (just keep it on a leash) and eat up.

(3) Test yourself at the Queen City Quiz Show

Saturday, 5-7 p.m. Free (but registration required). St Martin’s Episcopal Church, 1510 E 7th St.

Brought to you by the visionary minds at CreativeMornings/Charlotte and the Levine Museum of the New South, the Queen City Quiz Show is a Knight Foundation-funded series of live game shows that are popping up all over Charlotte throughout the summer of 2017. Hosted by Tim Miner and Matt Olin of CreativeMornings/Charlotte, these shows are packed full of trivia about Charlotte’s humble beginnings, where we are now and where the city is going.

(4) Cheers to one year at Moo & Brew’s Birthday
