FriYAY is almost here (finally), and you can swing by The Ritz’s Kinship lounge for some enjoyable live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight. Saturday, Feb. 25
Calling all the ladies! Cali Stott of Cali Stott | Hair & Makeup Artistry is hosting a Makeup Workshop + wine event in Matthews on Saturday evening, starting at 8 p.m. This is perfect for those looking at how to take everyday makeup and change it up to evening looks, but also sculpting and conturing to fit your face shape. There will be wine, light snacks, and swag bags with makeup. Don’t miss out.

Saturday, Feb. 25
Ready to be cultured? On Saturday, the Mint Museum (Randolph)’s Champagne Brunch and Artist chat from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Admission is free, but you must register online beforehand. Nancy Callan will be chatting it up about the future of contemporary glass.

Sunday, Feb. 26
Want to get some fitness in? Check out what Work For Your Beer has to offer. At 11 a.m. on Sunday, they are hosting Lenny Boy Brewing Sip and Sweat. This class is free, and includes a free 6-ounce glass of kombucha or beer. If you’ve never tried their kombucha before, ask for some samples to find your favorite. This class is open for all levels, so if you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, don’t worry. Their vibe is meant to be fun and upbeat. Be sure to bring a mat, towel, and water to stay hydrated.

Monday, Feb. 27
Ready to run? Charlotte Running Co. has their Monday Meetup (every Monday) beginning at 6:30 p.m. This is a 4.4-mile journey with all the free beer at the end. Rain or shine, they are ready to go! Please note: Runners meet right outside of the store. You will then walk through the alley to the left of the store, taking you out back to start the run.

Tuesday, Feb. 28
On Tuesdays, we do yoga. Come out to Old Meck for Yoga On Tap at 6:30 p.m. to have a great class filled with all levels of yogis, and for only $5, you get a wristband to choose a beer of your choice. This is a super popular event, so be sure to arrive early, bring a friend along if you want, and find a nice spot to get your zen on!

Blue Blaze is hosting the “Barley + Hops Watercolor Workshop,” a night of fun and learning with A Modern Craft Collective and their step-by-step instructions on the basic properties of ink pen, watercolor paint, brushes, and papers while creating a series of barley- and hop-inspired images.All materials are provided.

Thursday, March 2
Hope you have your appetite ready! On Thursday the 2nd, Corkbuzz is offering a huge Craft Beer Dinner starting at 7 p.m. This four-course meal will be paired with seven different beers.
