(1) Peruse art in the evening.
5-9 p.m. tonight. Free. Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, 420 S Tryon St.
The Bechtler invites you to an after-hours event every third Friday. With special gallery tours, scavenger hunts, live tunes, light bites and booze, Bechtler By Night is the perfect evening out.
(2) Find something delicious at the Cotswold FTF Rally.
5-9 p.m. Friday. Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3115 Providence Road.
Cotswold’s Friday Food Truck Rally will feature free parking, live music, kid-friendly areas and 10 of Charlotte’s best food trucks. Bring chairs, blankets and coolers with your bev of choice.
(3) Get your eat on at Rural Hill’s Spring Food Truck Rally.
4-8 p.m. Saturday. $5 cash per vehicle for parking. Historic Rural Hill, 4431 Neck Road, Huntersville.
Keep the food truck theme going Saturday in Huntersville. Spend an afternoon frolicking on the farm while enjoying grub on the go from 20 Charlotte-area food trucks. Live tunes, N.C. craft beer, bounce houses and hayrides included. No pets allowed.
(4) Learn how to mix Irish-themed cocktails at Heirloom.
1-3 p.m. Saturday. $45. Heirloom Restaurant, 8470 Bellhaven Blvd.
The mixologists at Heirloom are getting in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit by hosting an Irish-inspired cocktail class. Enjoy light bites while mixing drinks with Great Wagon Road Distillery spirits. Chef Clark Barlowe will also be providing small plates.
(5) Shop the Starving Artist Market.
Noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Free. Charlotte Art League, 1517 Camden Road.
The Starving Artist Market brings together all local, handmade artists for a free monthly market. March kicks off the first of the outdoor markets. Grab food from Vic the Chili Man, Fresh Med and Emergensweets while shopping for jewelry, woodwork, paintings, pottery and more.
Bonus: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with drinks, a bar crawl, parade and more.
