This SouthPark medspa claims it can help you with with hangovers -- and orgasms

A SouthPark medical spa may not be the first place you think of for help when you’re hurting from a hangover or need help having a, well … uh … orgasm, but that’s just what Infinity MedSpa and Wellness center specializes in.

Owner JoBrent Austin-Diehl, a former lobbyist, doesn’t blush when talking about the so-called O-shot or P-shot — injections that go in cringe-worthy spots on both men and women. (Picture you’re worst case scenario for an injection and you’ve nailed it.)

“It’s actually a painless procedure,” Austin-Diehl insists. And the shots – the “O” for women and the “P” for men — are becoming increasingly popular. Dr. Kathleen Russo performs the procedures and says 85 percent of women experience better quality orgasms and or relief from post child-birth urinary leakage.

So how exactly does it work? Repeat after us – Platelet Rich Plasma therapy (PRP). We know, it sounds a little Frankestein-esque but Dr. Russo says it’s worth it.

“We take some of the patients own blood, process it, take out the healing parts and then patients own platelets are re-injected into the …” appropriate body part. And boys – listen up – ads for the P-shot claim an average penis growth rate of 10-20 percent within three weeks of having the shot. (Editor’s note: FWIW, I searched around a while to find any scientific evidence for this but mostly came up empty outside of sites promoting the shot.)

“I’m having women who have said they’ve never had an orgasm before now have a better relationship with their partner,” Dr. Russo says.

The MedSpa also has the more traditional offerings like facials, lasers, and injectables, but millennials are mostly taking advantage of services like “the Checkers Cocktail and the Hornets Hangover.” Diehl says The Checkers Cocktail helps with fatigue, and gives you a boost if you’re travelling or need a little something extra.

The Hornets Hangover is for anyone who wishes they’d had one less glass, beer, shot (you get the picture) the next morning.

“It’s best for a hangover and very popular, especially on weekends,” Diehl says. “It’s so popular that we always have a nurse on call on the weekends for this IV hydration. It’s instant. Alcohol dehydrates you and when they put the fluids in, it’s almost instant – you can’t drink enough water or Gatorade to feel this good.”
