Pastry chefs from your favorite local restaurants have the chance to show off their skills at this six-course dessert event. Each dish is paired with a spirit, beer, shrub or wine.

It won’t all be sweet. Look for passed apps before the main event. And Chef Alyssa’s fourth course will be a savory dish with Cackleberry Young Farmstead Cheese, Harissa Breadcrumb, Pickled Strawberry and Spring Onion.

Details: $50 per person, $65 after April 24. (Get tickets here.) 7-9 p.m. The 658 Center, 3646 Central Avenue. For more info, visit here.
