(1) Help fight breast cancer with yoga + Queen City Chic + WFYB

Thursday, April 27. $5. 6:30-7:30 p.m. Lenny Boy Brewing Co., 3000 S. Tryon St.

Support Carolina Breast Friends with an evening of yoga at Lenny Boy. A $5 donation gets you 60 minutes of yoga and a post-practice kombucha. After class, enjoy a beer and peruse the local vendors. This 60-minute yoga class will be led by Lindsey Crisp of Charlotte Yoga.

(2) Picnic in the Park at Freedom Park

Friday, April 28. Free. 6 p.m. Freedom Park, 1900 East Blvd.

Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail are hosting a picnic in the park complete with live music, wine, beer and family activities. Bring your own snacks. Cash bar for alcohol only.

(3) Savor the Flavor of Sabor SouthPark’s opening this Friday

Come out to the new SouthPark location for great eats. Sabor Latin Street Grill serves up a menu of authentic offerings from Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, El Salvador and Dominican Republic. You can find a number of awesome specials throughout the week including $1 tacos on Tuesdays and $4 margs on Fridays.

(4) Get your Wooden Robot beer to go before they’re gone

Drink local wherever you may be. Wooden Robot is hosting their Thicket as Thieves Blackberry Sour Ale bottle release. Perfect for bottle shares or personal consumption. Limit four bottles per person.

(5) Raise money and your beer glass for the ‘Adopt Don’t Shop’ fundraiser at Blind Pig

Join Blind Pig for their second ‘Adopt Don’t Shop’ fundraiser to support the South of the Bully Rescue and RescuedMe. There will be live music, drinks, raffle items, a dunk tank and lots of puppies.
