CharlotteFive Podcast hosts Sarah and Corey share their 10 favorite Charlotte things
CharlotteFive co-editor Katie Toussaint announced the first Charlotte Five awards in an C5 newsletter intro last week.
The gist: Over several weeks we’ll be asking you, loyal C5 readers, to weigh in on a variety of Charlotte-based categories from breweries to food to things to do and beyond. More details about the awards will be coming very soon.
In the meantime, thinking about these awards got Sarah Crosland and I about our favorite Charlotte things. So we decided to talk about them on this week’s episode of the CharlotteFive Podcast.
Sarah and I named — and thoroughly discussed — our Charlotte favorites for various categories, including:
– Favorite place for drinks.
– Favorite Charlotte festival.
– Favorite place to take a dog (or dogs).
– Favorite Charlotte neighborhood.
– Favorite Charlotte suburb.
Also discussed on this week’s podcast:
– Stoke, and Coco and the Director, the new restaurant and bar, and coffee shop at the Marriott Center City.
– What to do this weekend. (I got Sarah to talk about the Panthers!)
– How I’m trying to be more outdoorsy.
