Tracking Cam Newton’s completions: Week 2 against the 49ers
Hello, Carolina Panthers fans! Last football season, we tracked linebacker Luke Kuechly’s tackles. This season we’re keeping track of all the passes completed by reigning NFL MVP Cam Newton.
The “X” on the field in the graphic below marks where each pass was caught, not where the play ended. The placement on the grid to the left also applies to where the catch was made.
Against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Cam had 24 pass completions for 353 yards and four touchdowns. Get the breakdown in the infographic below.
Follow us each week as we keep track of the Panthers’ passing game throughout the season.
Here’s are Cam’s completions and yardage for the year.
