If you haven’t celebrated #Oktoberfeast yet, you should start taking advantage of the fall specials now
Happy Center City #Oktoberfeast, friends! This Charlotte “holiday” kicked off Oct. 13 and continues through Oct. 27, with participating businesses and restaurants promoting fall specials for patrons.
Because, as Charlotte Center City Partners put it, “Fall is a beautiful time to walk outside, and you have to eat.”
During this promotional period, Center City and South End restaurants and businesses are in charge of creating their own menu specials or similar limited-time offers.
Steven Cole, CCCP director of communications, pointed out that Uptown and South End have a number of events and festivals at this time of the year, including Hola Charlotte, which was last Sunday, Open Streets 704, which is Oct. 23, and the Uptown Art Crawl, which is Oct. 27.
“Charlotte Center City Partners is involved with these efforts to varying degrees and #Oktoberfeast was a way to add a complimentary dining/art element to them,” he said. “Additionally, Oktoberfeast is another way to promote small businesses in our Center City footprint.”
